Welcome to The Littles Society. We are honored to be part of your motherhood journey and to create a space for connection, learning, and support.
Before participating, please carefully review the following terms. By registering and using this website, you acknowledge and agree to all of the following:
1. Acknowledgment of Services
The Littles Society provides educational, community-based group sessions for mothers and their babies. Topics may include newborn care, child development, postpartum wellness, and related areas.
You understand that all information shared is for educational and informational purposes only and is not individualized advice or care.
Participation does not establish a therapist-client, patient-provider, or any other professional relationship.
2. Medical & Health Disclaimer
You acknowledge that:

The Littles Society does not provide medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice, diagnosis, or treatment

Information shared should not replace care from your physician, pediatrician, mental health provider, or other licensed professional
-
You are responsible for seeking appropriate care for yourself and your child
3. Assumption of Risk
You understand that participation in group settings involving infants and caregivers includes inherent risks, including but not limited to:

Illness transmission
-
Accidental injury
-
Physical or environmental hazards
By participating, you voluntarily assume all risks for yourself and your child.
4. Parental Responsibility & Supervision
At all times during sessions:

You are solely responsible for the supervision, care, and safety of your child

The Littles Society does not provide childcare services

You agree to actively monitor your child and their interactions
5. Release & Waiver of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to release, waive, and hold harmless The Littles Society, its owners, facilitators, employees, contractors, and guest experts from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from:

Your participation in sessions

Your child’s participation
-
Any actions taken based on information shared

Any injury, illness, or incident occurring during or related to participation
6. Community Expectations & Code of Conduct
We are committed to creating a safe, respectful, and supportive environment.
By participating, you agree to:

Treat all participants with respect and kindness
-
Maintain confidentiality of personal stories shared within the group
-
Refrain from disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behavior
The Littles Society reserves the right to remove any participant who does not uphold these expectations, without refund.
7. Photo & Video Consent
We may capture photos or short videos during sessions to reflect the connection and community within The Littles Society.
By agreeing to this waiver:

You consent to the use of images or recordings that may include you and/or your child for marketing and promotional purposes

No identifying personal information will be used without additional consent
If you prefer not to be photographed or recorded, you must notify us in writing at info@thelittlessociety.com, and we will make reasonable efforts to honor your request.
8. Guest Experts
You acknowledge that:

Guest speakers may provide information and perspectives during sessions

Their views are their own

The Littles Society does not guarantee the accuracy or applicability of their content

Participation does not establish a relationship with any guest expert
9. Payment, Cancellation & Refund Policy

Full payment is required to reserve your spot

Due to the limited size and nature of the program, registration is non-refundable
-
Missed sessions are non-refundable and may not be rescheduled. If you miss a session, please contact us at info@thelittlessociety.com to discuss virtual attendance if applicable
10. Intellectual Property
All materials provided (including workbooks, handouts, guides, and digital resources) are the property of The Littles Society.
They are intended for personal use only and may not be copied, shared, or distributed without written permission.
11. Privacy
Your information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy which can be located on our website.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Littles Society shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your participation.
13. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina.
14. Acknowledgment & Consent
By registering for The Littles Society, you acknowledge that:
